With over 3000 designs in production in 40 countries, he is easily the most prolific designer of his generation. He has worked producing luxury goods for the likes of Veuve Clicquot and Swarovski as well as more “democratic” ones for \u003ca title=\"Umbra\" href=\"http:\/\/www.design55online.co.uk\/brands\/umbra.html\" target=\"_self\"\u003eUmbra\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca title=\"Alessi products\" href=\"http:\/\/www.design55online.co.uk\/brands\/alessi.html\" target=\"_self\"\u003eAlessi\u003c\/a\u003e and 3M – not to forget his high-tech creations for Asos and Samsung. Indeed, Rashid’s pluralism is matched only by his ambition: which is “to creatively touch every aspect of our physical and virtual landscape”.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eRashid is also a prolific writer of monographs. The one that perhaps best describes his attitude to design was published by Rizzotti in 2001. It was called I Want To Change The World.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eKarim Rashid’s work can be seen in fourteen galleries worldwide, including Manhattan’s MoMA and the Pompidou in Paris.
