NLXL Wallpaper originated with Peter Hein Eeks now legendary experimentations in the 1990s with furniture made from scrap wood. [OPEN]A reaction to the then prevalent craving for flawlessness, he developed imperfect but aesthetically appealing products. In 2010 Rick Vintage utilised state-of-the-art developments in computer scanning techniques to launch NLXL’s range of scrapwood wallpaper. An overnight success and winner of an IFCC Award, it was followed by Concrete wallpaper and Arthur Slenk’s Remixed wallpaper.
A graduate of Industrial Design, Peter Hein Eeks pre-dated today’s on-trend Industrial style of interior décor by twenty years. He does, however, remain one of its most influential figures. Some of his designs are permanent exhibits at the Smithsonian Institute.
NLXL wallpapers add pattern and texture to a room. Incredibly realistic to look at, they are soft and warm to the touch. Another advantage of these designer wallpapers is they don’t require any matching - so there’s less waste and they’re easy to hang.[CLOSE]
